Turkey-Scotland Business and Trade Convention Held Successfully

The Turkey-Scotland Chamber of Commerce held a significant business and trade convention on October 3, 2024, in Edinburgh, at the Edinburgh City Council and the Scottish Parliament. 
This event marked the first time a Turkish deputy minister, Ahmet Aydın, attended at the ministerial level.

The convention was hosted by Edinburgh Deputy Mayor Lezley Cameron and Shadow Culture Minister Foysol Choudhury from the Scottish Parliament. 
Scottish Trade Minister Richard Lochhead also participated, delivering important messages aimed at strengthening trade relations between the two countries.

Speakers included Turkish-Scottish Chamber of Commerce President Şahin Vahap Fırat, Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Edinburgh Demet Kayaoglu, Mayor of Milas Fevzi Topuz, and Enes Güzel, UK Representative of the Turkish Presidential Investment Agency. 
Additionally, Selim Devlet Paslı, Chief Commercial Advisor of the Turkish Embassy in London, shared key insights at the convetion.

The event saw the participation of many  high-level companies from Turkey and over many  high-level companies from Scotland. The congress is regarded as an important step toward enhancing trade and cooperation between Turkey and Scotland.
