Protocol Signed with the Educational Attaché for Turkish Language and Culture in Edinburgh
A protocol has been signed with the Educational Attaché in Edinburgh with the aim of providing Turkish language and Turkish culture classes within our institution to the children of our citizens living in Edinburgh. TSCC President Fırat's message:
Dear guests,
I am very happy and excited to be here today. Bearing witness to the beginning of Turkish language classes in Scotland is truly a great privilege. This step taken to transcend the boundaries of language, build bridges between cultures, and bring people closer together is truly deserving of appreciation.
Language is one of the most important elements of our culture. Learning a language means that Turkish language learners will not only discover Turkish culture but also the thought structure, values, and rich history of Turkish people. In addition to Scotland's magnificent natural beauty and historical heritage, there are many things we can share with you. By learning Turkish, you will not only acquire another language but also have the opportunity to make new friends and understand different cultures. This educational program demonstrates the power of intercultural dialogue.
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the start of Turkish language classes in Scotland. I wish our students success and hope that each of you will progress on this new language journey more strongly and skillfully.
Welcome everyone again, and I wish you success!
Thank you.
